Book Review: The Golden Owl (Clockwork Calico Book 1) by Lana Axe

I was given a copy of The Golden Owl in exchange for an honest review.

This is a delightful and charming story. Cali the Clockwork Calico is an intelligent, loyal, sassy, bionic cat who takes no shit. I enjoyed being whisked away to a steampunk setting as it's not one I am familiar with or thought I would like. I thought it might get cheesy when the animals started to speak to each other but it doesn't come off cartoonish. I look forward to reading other books in the series.
